Tikvah Learning Community

The Tikvah Learning Community (TLC) at Congregation Beth Tikvah is an innovative, Jewish education program for grades K-10.  Located in Marlton, we serve students from Mt. Laurel, Moorestown, Cherry Hill, Medford and many other communities.    

Our mission is to engage TLC students and to help foster a lifelong passion for Judaism.  We believe we can achieve this by working in partnership with our families, building a strong Jewish community at Beth Tikvah and beyond, furthering the inclusive values of our congregation, pursuing social justice at every opportunity and creating a culture of living Jewishly in modern times. 

Highlights of TLC include:

• Sunday-only program, with four Shabbatonim during the year
• Joyful and interactive services on Sundays
• Small classes of about 10-12 students 
• Students learn Hebrew and the concepts of Jewish culture (holidays, rituals, foods and more)
• Programming is rooted in a commitment to Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). The teen program combines classroom with outside learning and teaches students that their Jewish values can have real world impact. 
• Volunteering at various elder care homes or packing food for the hungry are a couple of the Mitzvot our teens perform.
