Welcome to Congregation Beth Tikvah’s website…I’m so glad you found us!
Being involved in a religious community that brings people together around shared values is more important now than ever. We at Beth Tikvah strive to deepen human connection as well as to something bigger than ourselves (God). We also aim to make the world a better place through acts of G’milut Chasadim (loving kindness).
While this site provides some basic information about us, the best way to learn about the values we hold dear – and the type of authentic, spiritual, and joyous community we seek to build – is by experiencing Beth Tikvah either in person when possible or through social media, as we are all utilizing these days.
Once our world is a healthier one, we hope you will come visit us on Shabbat and see an intimate community of Jewish spiritual seekers. Let me find someone to host you and your family for a Shabbat dinner once we are comfortable spending time together in close quarters. I also personally invite you to let me buy you coffee so that we can get to know one another.
For now, we can talk on the phone or meet up via FaceTime or Zoom.
It is sung in the Torah service that “all its ways are pleasantness and all its paths are peace.” Let us help you find your way and your path into meaningful Jewish community.

Beth Tikvah is a unique community in South Jersey. Joyful, participatory, and embracing of everyone, we pride ourselves on being one large, extended family.
Affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and led by a Reconstructionist rabbi, members here enjoy a robust line-up of religious services, educational programs and social activities to meet the needs and interests of our congregants.
Our egalitarian community is open to all, regardless of age, race, marital status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Interfaith families are welcome.
Joining a synagogue is a highly personal decision. We invite you to get to know Beth Tikvah in person, through social media, or perhaps a phone call with Rabbi Nathan will give you a feel for the personality and essence of the synagogue.
